Google’s AI chatbot Gemini has now surpassed 750 million monthly users, according to the company’s quarterly report for the fourth quarter of 2025, reports TechCrunch. This is a significant increase from 650 million users in the previous quarter.
For reference and comparison’s sake, competitor ChatGPT was estimated to have around 810 million users at the end of 2025, while Meta AI had around 500 million monthly users.
The growth coincides with the launch of Gemini 3, Google’s most advanced AI model to date, which, according to the company, outperforms several competitors in key tests.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai says the company will continue to invest in both free and paid versions. A new, cheaper option called Google AI Plus is expected to contribute to continued user growth.
